UNOPIÙ WARRANTY

Unopiu currently offers a 5-year warranty for each item of teak and iron furniture and a 10-year warranty for iron and wooden Structures.

These warranties are in addition to and do not affect the statutory rights of any customer.

1. Iron Structures

Section 1 applies to all structures and Iron cantilever roofs.

The warranty only applies to - functionality - durability - structural integrity of product - durability of protection treatment and finish. Please note that compared to traditional structural techniques, which include manual forging and riveting of metals, limited oxidation or rusting might occur, which does not impair the functionality, integrity and product life, being only a consequence of the particular electrogalvanic and/or chemical techniques used and such oxidation is excluded from the cover of this warranty.

This warranty is valid only for parts - that have been used and installed in accordance with their intended purposes - that have not been modified, cut or damaged - that have not been paced on the ground or surface that might cause chemical or electrogalvanic alterations.

2. Impregnated Wooden Structures

Section 2 applies to all impregnated wood structures.

The warranty only applies to - functionality - durability - structural integrity of product - mould proof, insect resistance.

This warranty is valid only for parts - that have been used and installed in accordance with their intended purposes - that have not been positioned on acidic or fertilised ground - that have not been modified; the surfaces of which have not been damaged or altered - that have been placed on ground with proper drainage.

3. Iron Furniture

Section 3 applies to all iron furniture items.

The warranty only applies to - functionality - durability - structural integrity of the product - durability of protection treatment and finish. Please note that compared to traditional structural techniques, which include manual forging and the riveting of metals, limited oxidation or rusting might occur, which does not impair the functionality, structural integrity and product life, being only a consequence of the particular electro galvanic and / or chemical techniques used and such oxidation is excluded from the cover of this warranty.

This warranty is valid only for parts:- that have been used and installed in accordance with their intended purposes - that have not been modified, cut or damaged - that have not been positioned on the ground or surface that can cause chemical or electrogalvanic alterations.

4. Teak Furniture

Section 4 applies to all teak furniture.

The warranty only applies to - functionality - durability - structural integrity of the product.

Please note that the presence of cracks is a natural consequence of the wood adjusting to ambiental humidity. The superior characteristic of the wood ensures that such cracking does not impair the functionality, structural integrity and product durability.

The colour of the wood changes in time due to its particular natural characteristics, depending on the climatic and ambiental conditions to which it is exposed.

General conditions

The warranty includes at Unopiùs sole discretion, the repair or replacement of damaged items or parts thereof. Unopiù is not liable for any loss or profits, salary, anticipated savings, goodwill, reputation, business, revenue (whether direct or indirect), losses suffered by third parties, or any indirect, special or consequential losses, costs, expenses (including labour, travel or delivery costs) or damages, arising out of or in connection with the purchase or use of the products, or any breach of the purchase Contract or any applicable terms and conditions, whether in contract, negligence or tort, and however caused even if foreseeable. Unopiùs total liability (including any liability for acts or omissions of it's employees, agents and sub-contractors) to the Buyer in respect of any breach of the purchase Contract and any applicable terms and conditions, whether in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise, shall be limited to the price of the Goods paid or payable by the Buyer. Nothing in this Warranty excludes or limits the liability of Unopiù for death or personal injury caused by Unopiùs or its employee's negligence. The warranty applies to all products with valid proof of purchase and is valid for the warranty period (as stated above) from the date of purchase. This warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is not transferable. The original sales receipt and/or invoice must be presented as proof of purchase for the purpose of warranty activation.
